Quality & technical terms explained

Crocodile back leather: The middle of the crocodile's back is processed. This is where particularly dense, natural horn plates (osteoderms) are located. They make the leather dimensionally stable, robust and give the belt its three-dimensional structure.

Livestock farming & recycling: The hides come from controlled farm husbandry; the animal is completely recycled. This is regulated and documented by law.

Certificates (e.g. CITES): The trade in crocodile leather is subject to the Washington Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora. All certificates are available and can be viewed on request.

Handmade & handpainted: Each piece is cut by hand in Milan, edges and surface are finished and dyed by hand. This ensures depth of color, clean edges and a high-quality feel.
